Segnale Digitale is a collective name which gathers  and represents a group of filmmakers, producers, dj's, musicians and digital artisans. It operates between Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Milan, Bologna and Lecce. Involved for years in audio, video and multimedia productions, deeply influenced by all forms of StreetArt and StreetCulture, they design and produce works and products of an independent nature and inspiration with strong countercultural connotations, through the use of poor and rich digital techniques, using means, forms and structures completely independent from the mainstream's dominant  influences.

Segnale Digitale is not being born now, but comes, derives, exists and compacts around ten years‚ work of a group of digital artisans and independent experimenters who, since the mid nineties, began to use the instruments of their job for works culturally and politically alternative to the contents of the dominant industry. And they're making emerge new artistic and social sensibilities, bound together by a deep conscience of cultural, spiritual and human roots connected to new and antique traditions of the people of the world.

Segnale Digitale is interested in promoting forms of culture and experimentation which favor and help the turning points and innovations in the fields of art, science, spirituality, philosophy and the way of life which are by now dramatically necessary in the world global landscape in which we live. SD is also favoring above all living, real and open communication, positive and effective interpersonal relationships, tolerance, operative solidarity and democratic sharing of the available instruments of production.

Segnale Digitale presents with this web site a display/review of audio & video works and initiatives which distinguished its path with the intent of propose and make available old and new material, but mostly to inspire and ease new contacts, new collaborations, new projects, offering itself as producer, catalyst of works, events and independent initiatives of an audio, video and multimedia nature. Segnale Digitale is mainly interested in helping emerge, be known and more and more appreciated the new musical scenes and artistic sensibilities in provoking new energies, in the access to new freedom spaces and easing new broadmindedness!
