Ghetto Eden represent a pure musical energy explosion. The crew from Lecce has three members: Marco a.k.a. Dj Zinfo, Flavio, and Khadim a.k.a. Afro Bamba. Marco is the dj of the group: in '05 and '06 he produced 2 mix-cds, Killamixtape vol.1 and vol.2, in which he shows up his ability at the turntables and a large special collection; culture and roots lover, he attends the administration and promotion of the crew. Flavio, mc and singer, takes his first steps in raggamuffin music in the beginning of 1998. His lyrics grow up from positive and negative aspects of the street, his style is rooted to the sound of Salento in his particular powerful vocal technique. The point is to let the audience get closer to important social themes through a music made of reality melted up with entertainment. Khadim is a boy from Senegal grown up in Lecce since he was a child, this city gave him hospitality and gave him the opportunity to sing in dialect and also in his own wolof language; he took part as main figure in a video by Africa Unite, he appeared in videos by SudSoundSystem and Thug Team, and in the '04 '05 '06 editions of the Italian Dancehall Queen Contest.

The Ghetto Eden crew is considered as one of the most important musical realities in that reggae ground called "Salento". They started taking their steps in music seeking an artistical answer to youth estrangement and violence typical of too many youths all over Italy. Thanks to the help from the famous veterans SudSoundSystem and Dj War, they grew and became mature during the well known summer dancehalls on the beaches of Salento, always promoting other events by themselves with other local, national and international artists.

From the beginning they let people appreciate their shows in the main yards of Italy such as Pergola, Acqua Potabile, Cantiere 21, c.s.o. Orso (MIlano), Top a Top, Intifada (Roma), Livello, Link (Bologna), c.s.a.Pedro (Padova), tnt (perugia), tnt (Napoli), c.s.a. Auro (Catania), New Demode (Bari) and took part in many festivals - Rise, Heineken festival, Summer festival, Made in Salento, Da bass, etc.

They recently appeared in the last tournee of SudSoundSystem with who they also took part in The Salento Showcase project. They are dancehall style lovers, but always want to give a 360° sound in selections and live shows, speaking about messages of consciousness and anger at the same time, with the will to fight for our ideals and toughts. Through their path they took part, together with Shotta-p and Thug Team, in a ragga-hip hop project called "Scumbenati". Recently the family acquired a new member with the arrival of El Hàdji Malick bringing some wind of Africa with himself.
