We started 2011, which we hope will be a very "special" year for Segnale Digitale and for all the reggae-lovers, with a "special" gift from Dj War, historic producer and dj, one of the founders of the Italian hip hop and reggae scenes, main protagonist of many pioneering music adventures of Sud Sound System and Isola Posse All Star.

With his War Sound System, Dj War contributed to writing ther history of Italian reggae and of the dancehall in Salento, pioneering the new sounds of Jungle music first and then D'n'B. In this mix tape, he goes back to the roots of these sounds, to the fundamental tracks of his infinite vynil collection (Roland Alphonso, Skatalites, King Tubby, Augustus Pablo), mixing them with rare finds (Michael Smith, Junior Reid) and ties them all up with surprising mash ups (Super Cat with Method Man, Cutty Ranks with O.G.C).
