Segnale Digitale is in the "Street Culture", has all the forms of independent and experimental music linked to it, from the rock-pop culture of the 70s, to the explosion of new sounds and attitudes expressed by Punk, Hip Hop and the first forms of independent electronic music which marked the end of the 70s, with direct repercussion in ’79 in New York and in the early 80s in Milan and London.

These influences push the Segnale Digitale crew to come closer with new interest to the first forms of independent music linked to the use of new studio and street communication techniques such as rap, toasting and poetry-talking, together with the use of the first electronic instruments and, above all, to the feeling of being close to all those musical and artistic expressions associated with the DO IT YOURSELF mental-attitude of the all-time independent labels of the first punk and later hiphop movement.

During this time, Segnale Digitale organizes concerts with main Italian and foreign music and independent art scene groups, producing some of the first events in which art, music and experimental imagery are mixed. Memorable were the Gaznevada, Stupid Set, Skiantos, Tuxedoomon, CCCP, Surprize concerts as well as the first Dj, torrid Soul, Funk and Hiphop evenings.
